Jewification 101

Last night was the first installment of Derech Torah, a 30-week class on the fundementals basics of Judaism. This is new material for Pamela, but I could certainly use a refresher. There're 18 members of the class, most of which are couples about our age or a few yrs older, many of which are aiming to convert. Everyone seems nice, and while the first class met at the 92nd street Y, all subsequent classes are at students houses, so there'll be a nice opportunity to meet the people we'll be spending a lot of time with over the next 8 months. Looking fwd to it!
